Training paddle tomorrow (Saturday, Aug 3, URI Bay Campus) - RickyB - 08-02-2024
Geared to paddlers who have mostly paddled Level 2 trips or flatwater. You will have the opportunity to paddle in swells, current, rocks, and/or other dynamic (but manageable) conditions. Depending on the interest of the group, we may also practice some assisted rescues. Please RSVP and send questions to Rick Brooks at: rbrooks104@aol.com
Required equipment: Boats with forward and aft sealed compartments and deck lines, spray skirts, helmets and towlines. Dress to get wet.
Launch at 10 AM from the URI Bay Campus.
